I'm so happy to be able to share my latest design for Crochet Now magazine! The Cherish Romper features in Issue 50. If you've been following me on Instagram for a while you may have seen a similar version of this style before. This classic ribbed romper was one of the first garments I designed when my daughter was a baby, she's 3 now so it's great to finally see it published (it was on my to-do list for a while!)! I wanted to make a cute romper that would look great layered with warm woolly tights and knitted cardigans in the colder months. I always try to avoid sewing in my designs where possible so this style is made in one piece from the top down, adding the straps and buttons to finish.
Yarn used is the Bernat Softee Baby in soft red, this premium acrylic yarn comes in a beautiful range of pastel colours. The 140g balls are perfect for baby soft clothing, blankets and accessories. You could use any acrylic dk yarn and the pattern includes 3 different size options for newborn up to 1 year.
Find the Cherish Winter Romper pattern in Issue 50 of Crochet Now Magazine. This issue is all about Winter essentials, with must-make projects for the season ranging from a snuggly sweater to super-cute slippers, stylish cushions and fabulous blankets.
